Do You Need Water Treatment?

Do You Need Water Treatment?

If you own a private water source, such as a well, and it serves more than one property or is used in a commercial or public building, you are required to have a private water assessment. If the water source just serves one property and it’s used only by yourself and your family, then you aren’t obliged to have an assessment, although it is advisable.

Your private water assessment will be carried out by your local authority and they will check your water for harmful bacteria and chemical, which may make you unwell. They will advise you of the findings and recommend steps to make your water safe. It’s also possible that contaminants in your water could adversely affect machinery.  That’s where companies, like Pumping Solutions, come in. They provide specialist solutions to filter and pump water in both domestic and commercial buildings, to ensure that it is fit for human consumption and also that it doesn’t impact the performance of your machinery.
